Our first meeting, when we had nobody around, was at this cafe named 'Wisata'. Aarohi has this weird obsession with South-East Asian cuisine, so I let her choose the place. And when she made that pouty face like an innocent child, how could I say no?
The cafe is famous for its Indonesian cuisine particularly, which is rare in our city, and turns out the name Wisata means 'tour' in Indonesian. There was also this big world map on the wall, in the cafe.
I remember sitting with Aarohi, and being able to just stare at her, having time to spend with each other and no one to interrupt was so precious. She acted very shy that day, that to distract me and to break the ice she started asking me about the places I want to visit and with the suddenness of this question, I went on with the conversation and blurted out Bali, as there were dozens of references of Bali in the cafe itself. Aarohi on the other hand was very happy that even I wanted to visit Bali, as she already craved Bali's nature-focused tour and the beaches. It made her so happy that it made me smile awkwardly for straight 5 minutes!
We were so snuggled up on the couch, sipping on the coffee and talking about places. And after some precious time, I gathered myself on telling her that I never thought of visiting Bali, until that day. That it was completely out of the blue. The idea of us visiting Bali brought so much of happiness to her. She was so happy and said that she was surprised that I even remember our first conversation where she expressed her fancy for Bali. She gave me a tight hug. I love seeing my girl so happy!
